Navajo reservation- Northern Arizona and Utah
Monument Valley (and I drove for my fourth time in this gorgeous landscape!!)
Reynaldo's house in Rock Point, that he built by himself. Impressive.
Reynaldo and Yuna, near Rock Point
The Whale
(looking for sage) it has already snowed....
Canyon de Chelly, named by the Spaniards who did not understand that its name Tséyi' was the Diné (Navajo) name for canyon. The Navajo used to seek refuge during the colonization period, due to its difficulty of access. Massacres took place especially during the 19th century, of women, elders and children having found refuge in the canyon.
Anasazi housing (ancestors of the Pueblos, and maybe most of South-West current tribes)
